About this role
Global Capital Markets Strats applies AI, quantitative modeling, and data science to identify and develop solutions that improve productivity, revenue, and risk reduction across the division. The role embeds with bankers and syndicate teams, building analytics platforms, dashboards, and software tools while owning the lifecycle of data products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data-driven analysis for industry trends and deal opportunities
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics for transaction analytics, deal screening, and monitoring
- Build and maintain software tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms
- Design scalable software libraries, data pipelines, and analytical frameworks
- Own the lifecycle of data products including data sourcing, architecture design, model implementation, and visualization
Technical Overview
Responsibilities include leveraging AI and advanced analytics for transaction analytics, deal screening, and capital markets monitoring, and building scalable software libraries and data pipelines. The technical environment centers on programming with Python, R, SQL, or Java, with advantage for kdb+/q and familiarity with React.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a quantitative AI/strats professional with 4+ years of experience applying artificial intelligence, quantitative modeling, and data science to capital markets workflows. They are proficient in at least one of Python, R, SQL, or Java, have strong capital markets product knowledge (valuation, capital structure, financing), and can build software tools, dashboards, and scalable data pipelines that drive measurable improvements for Global Capital Markets teams.
