Senior GNOC Enterprise Dispatch Technician to support the 24x7 NOC for government networks from McLean, VA, delivering Tier 2 dispatch and incident management across LAN/WAN and data communications systems.
Key Responsibilities
- ['Provide Tier 2 Incident Management and Dispatch support to the Network Operations Center (NOC)', "Support an organization's LAN, WAN, customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communications systems", 'Perform maintenance of network hardware and software to support network availability', 'Proactively identify risks in the network and develop a plan to mitigate them', 'Coordinate with ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow) and manage incident response']
Technical Overview
Focus on advanced networking (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, LAMBDA) with OSI model, routing protocols, and multi-vendor network management tools. Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and coordinating ticketing systems (Remedy, ServiceNow) in a government environment.
Ideal Candidate
Senior GNOC/dispatch technician with 10+ years of networking experience in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, LAMBDA, and extensive hands-on with network management tools. Must have TS/SCI with polygraph and strong outage troubleshooting, vendor coordination, and incident response capabilities.
