About this role
This role involves providing Tier 2 technical support for medical IT systems at MacDill AFB, handling escalated issues related to hardware, software, and networks, ensuring system security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to escalated technical issues involving hardware, software, and networks
- Provide Tier 2 support for desktops, servers, and applications
- Manage user accounts and group policies
- Support patch management and security configurations
- Track and resolve incidents using ServiceNow and Remedy
Technical Overview
The technical environment includes Windows operating systems, Active Directory, enterprise applications, network infrastructure, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow and Remedy, with a focus on cybersecurity and system monitoring.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level IT support technician with at least 2 years of experience providing Tier 2 support, proficient in Active Directory, Windows OS, and network troubleshooting, with security clearance and certifications such as Security+ and CCNA Security.
