About this role
AT&T Global Public Sector seeks a Principal HPC Systems Administrator to support large-scale HPC environments for a government client. The role requires maintaining Linux/UNIX/Windows HPC systems, managing Lustre/GPFS storage, high-speed interconnects, and monitoring, with TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 II certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HPC sustainment services
- Manage Linux/Unix/Windows systems
- Monitor health with Nagios/Splunk/Prometheus
- Follow government procedures and change management
- Resolve complex hardware/software integration issues
Technical Overview
Environment spans Linux/Windows/UNIX with HPC storage (Lustre/GPFS), high-speed interconnects (Infiniband/Slingshot), and monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Prometheus). Emphasis on system sustainment, SOA, and gov’t policy adherence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced HPC systems administrator with TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification, proficient in Linux/UNIX/Windows in HPC environments, and able to operate onsite in Columbia, MD on a government contract.
