About this role
This role greets guests and handles reservation calls for a busy high-volume restaurant/venue. The host uses a Table Management system and a computerized reservation system to manage availability and venue floor while supporting daily administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer the telephone and facilitate guest requests
- Answer incoming reservation calls and complete reservations in the computerized reservation system
- Keep abreast of food & beverage venues and menus and check availability continuously
- Using the table management system, manage incoming reservations and venue floor
Technical Overview
The position uses a Table Management system and a computerized reservation system to manage incoming reservations and check availability. It also requires proficiency operating basic office equipment and meeting compliance standards related to policies, daily memorandums, and chemical labels.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a friendly, energetic hospitality professional experienced in a high-volume service environment. They can accurately handle reservation calls and enter bookings in a computerized reservation system while using a Table Management system to manage the venue floor, all while maintaining strong guest and team communication. NV Health Card and TIPS training are required.
