About this role
Design, implement, and maintain Valero enterprise hosting and infrastructure platform solutions for on-premises and cloud environments. Work across operating systems, server hardware, virtualization, and containerization, ensuring lifecycle operations, capacity/performance, and ITIL-aligned service management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud
- Operate RHEL Linux and Windows Server environments with virtualization and container orchestration
- Design and operate systems enabling AI/ML workloads
- Manage infrastructure lifecycle operations and workload domain configuration
- Apply ITIL based service management processes (Change, Incident, Request)
Technical Overview
Enterprise infrastructure engineer focused on RHEL Linux and Windows Server, container orchestration, Broadcom VCF, and Cisco UCS. Responsible for integration across storage and network platforms, workload domain configuration, and performance/capacity analysis while applying ITIL Change/Incident/Request processes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level infrastructure/platform engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Windows Server Operating System environments, virtualization, and server hardware. They are experienced designing and operating enterprise hosting solutions across on-premises and cloud, including containerization and container orchestration, and can apply ITIL Change/Incident/Request processes in a production environment.
