About this role
The Hotel Operations Manager will lead planning and execution to scale resort service, revenue growth, and sales productivity for Planet Hollywood. This leader manages managers across hotel operations and guest services, drives dynamic pricing and inventory strategies, builds incentive plans for upsell, and uses analysis and reporting to improve guest experience and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hotel operations execution and scale resort service and revenue growth
- Manage a team of Hotel Operations Managers and Hotel Guest Services Managers
- Design and drive incentive plans aligned to upsell and dynamic pricing
- Use analysis to optimize sales models and elevate guest experience
- Set goals, implement plans, recommend headcount and operational expense investments, and ensure effective reporting
Technical Overview
Operations and revenue management scope across inventory/pricing, dynamic pricing, sales model optimization, and performance reporting. Preferred experience includes analytics platforms such as Tableau and SQL, and hotel systems/platform exposure such as Opera and LMS (specific usage not detailed).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced hotel/resort operations leader with 5+ years in resort operations, revenue optimization, and inventory management, including 3+ years of direct people management. They can translate high-level goals into actionable plans, drive dynamic pricing and upsell initiatives, improve guest experience, and use analytics (and ideally tools like Tableau/SQL/Opera) to optimize sales models.
