This RN supervisor role serves as an administrative representative when administration is not present. The incumbent oversees and guides nursing staff, supports resolution of patient care concerns and conflicts, and maintains nursing performance skills while ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide nursing employees when administration is not present
- Interact with hospital staff and ancillary departments to address patient care concerns and conflicts
- Maintain performance skills and administrative accountability
- Ensure adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct with immediate reporting of suspected issues
- Work flexibly across weekends/holidays/evenings/nights/overtime/on-call as needed
Technical Overview
Clinical leadership and compliance-focused role requiring specific emergency cardiovascular/pediatric credentials: BCLS/CPR and, when required by unit, ACLS plus PALS or ENPC. No software or IT systems are specified.

The ideal candidate is a Texas-licensed Registered Nurse with 3+ years of hospital RN experience and strong ability to supervise nursing staff. They hold current BCLS/CPR and are prepared to obtain or maintain ACLS and PALS/ENPC as required by unit needs, while demonstrating commitment to compliance and the Code of Conduct.
