HF Sinclair is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner in Tulsa to independently lead and execute a broad range of HR processes. The role partners with HR leadership and organizational leaders to resolve conflicts between established HR practices and business needs while ensuring compliance and improving core HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform HR studies, analyses, and interpretations to support HR and business efforts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal HR laws
- Lead full-cycle recruitment including interviews, offer letter preparation, and compensation negotiation
- Coordinate background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and initial applicant screenings
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees and support continuous improvement in core HR operations
Technical Overview
This is an HR strategy and execution role centered on HR compliance, employee and labor relations investigations, and talent acquisition. It covers full-cycle recruitment (screening through offers), coordination of background checks and drug and alcohol testing, and onboarding coordination, supported by accurate reporting and spreadsheet-based documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an HR Business Partner with 4-7 years of experience leading HR processes with minimal supervision. They have strong employee and labor relations investigation experience, can ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal HR laws, and can independently drive full-cycle recruitment through offer and onboarding. They are comfortable coaching managers and continuously improving core HR operations.
