About this role
Support leaders and employees as a Human Resources Business Partner across HR initiatives, operational processes, and employee relations. Administer compensation and time-off programs, manage new hire and termination documentation, conduct exit interviews, and coordinate training while handling HR duties related to HSE and WSIB case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support HR initiatives and operational HR processes for the client group
- Recruit and onboard salaried and hourly employees and coordinate training
- Administer compensation programs and employee time-off reporting
- Perform biweekly time keeping via Workday and reconcile with Corporate Payroll
- Administer HSE duties including WSIB case management and handle hearings/investigations
Technical Overview
Primary HR system is Workday, including biweekly time keeping and reconciliation of adjustments with Corporate Payroll. Also performs HR administration related to HSE and WSIB case management and supports investigations and hearings.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level HRBP with 3-7 years of progressive HR experience and at least 2 years in a generalist/functional role covering compensation, performance management, training, and labor relations. They will be proficient in Workday, including biweekly time keeping and reconciliation with Corporate Payroll, and can handle employee relations issues plus HSE administration including WSIB case management.
