About this role
Part-time HR Specialist to build and maintain HR infrastructure for a fully remote team, covering compliance, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations. Will audit the handbook, design processes, and establish systems to prevent backlog.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the employee handbook, policies, and SOPs for a remote team
- Design onboarding and offboarding processes with documented checklists in Asana
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Coordinate payroll data accuracy in Gusto
- Screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communications
Technical Overview
HR tech stack includes Gusto, Mosey, Checkr, Asana, and Google Workspace; will integrate HR policies with multi-state compliance and EOS-based framework.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level HR generalist with 3+ years of remote, multi-state HR experience, strong knowledge of federal employment law, and hands-on experience with Gusto and HRIS platforms. They should be capable of building HR processes from the ground up, maintain confidentiality, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
