About this role
The role installs, maintains, and repairs HVAC and related refrigeration and control systems. The technician is also responsible for air quality systems and handles routine, warranty, and emergency repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Installs heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and control systems
- Maintains and repairs HVAC and electrical/mechanical equipment
- Performs cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems
- Handles maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs
- Maintains regular communication and escalates to manager when necessary
Technical Overview
Work includes installing and servicing heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and associated control systems. The technician performs system cleaning, adjustment, repair, and ensures air quality systems are maintained from installation through end-of-life.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level HVAC Service Technician I who can install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. They can perform system cleaning and adjustments, handle warranty and emergency repairs, and communicate with a manager while working with some supervision.
