HVAC Technician will ensure heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems run smoothly by performing installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing. The role includes troubleshooting cooling/heating systems, maintaining refrigeration equipment, and performing refrigerant recovery and reporting.

  • Perform installation and service including inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of HVAC systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of main cooling/heating systems
  • Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration/cooling mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, belts, fans, coils, compressors, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot electrical/electronic controls associated with HVAC systems

The technical work spans preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including electrical/electronic controls, refrigerant systems (pressure interpretation and recovery), and gas and electrical (480/208 3 phase and 120 volt) hazards. It also includes installation and servicing of mechanical components such as compressors, coils, fans, pumps, and motors.

The ideal candidate is an HVAC Technician with 2+ years of experience in Residential and Commercial HVAC maintenance and installation. They can troubleshoot main heating/cooling systems, interpret refrigerant system pressures, perform refrigerant recovery and reporting, and handle electrical controls work safely.
