About this role
IIT Support Specialist providing Tier 1 IT desktop support to campus faculty, staff, and students with remote and on-site escalation from Main Campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to end users primarily during normal business hours (some after hours and overtime)
- Answer questions and troubleshoot computer, phone, and network problems
- Provide desktop application support and inventory management
- Provision mobile devices
- Maintain classroom AV and video conferencing equipment
Technical Overview
Support includes Windows, Office, Outlook, Remote Desktop, Active Directory; provisioning mobile devices; classroom AV; inventory and asset management.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level IT desktop support technician with 2+ years of experience, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Windows, Outlook, and AD; capable of supporting faculty, staff, and students remotely.
