About this role
AT&T seeks a Network Implementation Engineer to design, implement and document secure, DISA-aligned network solutions for government customers, including multi-vendor hardware and enterprise routing/switching protocols, with TS/SCI clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead network design and documentation
- Manage incident/escalation at enterprise level
- Coordinate with operations for fault isolation
- Develop design products/processes
- Ensure STIG/compliance and ATO adherence
Technical Overview
Involves OSPF/BGP routing, VLANs/802.1q, trunking, multi-vendor equipment (Cisco/Brocade/Juniper), DISA STIGs, ATO processes, and DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level network engineer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in secure network engineering for government/military environments, including OSPF/BGP, VLANs and multi-vendor hardware. They should possess DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 and TS/SCI with polygraph clearance, with a proven ability to document designs and obtain ATO for new devices.
