Textron Aviation is hiring In-House Counsel for Sales and Supply Chain Transactions in Wichita, Kansas. The attorney will support aircraft sales and supply chain organizations with contract drafting, negotiation, review, and risk allocation across domestic and international transactions.

  • Serve as workstream intake point for legal department
  • Draft, negotiate, and review aircraft sales and supply chain contracts (domestic and international)
  • Provide legal guidance on contract terms, risk allocation, and negotiation strategy
  • Support business leaders with contract-related issues across sales and supply chain organizations
  • Develop and deliver training on preventive and substantive legal and compliance matters

This role functions as a workstream intake point for the legal department and provides practical legal guidance to business leaders and cross-functional counterparts. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts and legal documents related to aircraft sales and supply chain/manufacturing agreements, with preferred knowledge of UCC contract law and U.S. government procurement matters.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level attorney (3-6 years) with strong commercial contracting experience supporting sales and supply chain organizations. They are a Kansas bar member (or eligible under Rule 721) with a Juris Doctorate and can draft, negotiate, and review domestic and international aircraft sales and related supply chain/manufacturing agreements.
