About this role
Industrial Engineer focused on distribution centers, improving layouts, workflows, and labor standards; oversees Labor Management System and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Model capacity, throughput, and staffing to support daily operations
- Design and optimize DC layouts, pick/put strategies, and material flow
- Lead cost/benefit analyses and capital justifications
- Build, validate, and maintain engineered labor standards
- Provide dashboards and analytics for KPIs
Technical Overview
Scope includes DC design, labor standards using time study (MOST/PMTS), data integration (SQL/Python/R), and analytics dashboards (Power BI/Tableau) with simulation (FlexSim).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level Industrial Engineer with 1-3 years of distribution/fulfillment experience, strong knowledge of labor standards and analytics, and hands-on use of Manhattan LMS/WMS plus data tools (Power BI/Tableau).
