Industrial Engineering

The Manufacturing Industrial Engineer Associate supports plant performance by developing labor standards and wage incentive plans and making data-driven recommendations to improve productivity and cost efficiency. The role performs time studies, staffing analysis, ergonomic evaluations, and job analyses, and partners with Engineering and Production on efficiency, capital justification, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain labor standards and wage incentive plans via time studies; Analyze and optimize staffing levels based on production volume and ticket fluctuations; Perform job and work analysis (responsibilities, physical demands, skill levels); Partner with Engineering and Production on efficiency studies and capital justifications; Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and MOST and support labor relations/grievances

This role is centered on industrial engineering analytics within manufacturing: labor standards, time studies, ergonomics/motion evaluation, job analysis, and staffing analysis tied to production volume, ticket fluctuations, and plant capacity. It also applies Lean, Six Sigma, and MOST methodologies and supports labor relations and arbitration in unionized environments.

The ideal candidate is a manufacturing-focused Industrial Engineering professional with 2+ years of experience supporting labor standards and wage incentive plans. They have hands-on experience conducting time studies, staffing analysis, ergonomic evaluations, and job analyses to optimize utilization of people and equipment. They are comfortable partnering with Engineering and Production teams on efficiency studies, continuous improvement, capital justification, and labor relations in unionized environments.
