About this role
This role provides IT desktop support to a nonprofit organization for staff using desktops and laptops. You will resolve internet and network access problems (wired and wireless), provide network printer support, and train staff on hardware and software usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support desktops and laptops with network, hardware, and software issues
- Resolve internet and network access issues (wired and wireless)
- Provide network printer support
- Train staff on software and hardware use
- Troubleshoot computer/software/network malfunctions through evaluation and testing
Technical Overview
The technical scope includes desktop support, wired and wireless network troubleshooting, and network printer support in a Windows and Lotus Notes environment. The role also supports data backup/storage learning and may assist with maintaining an intranet.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level IT support professional who can learn quickly and provide hands-on IT desktop support for desktops, laptops, and networks. They should be able to troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues and support network printers, while communicating clearly with staff and completing training under supervision.
