About this role
Ensure the technology department runs smoothly by managing IS business decisions, coordinating ECR requirements and delivery timelines, and supporting implementation verification. Also support database and data standards work including planning, performance tuning, and backup/recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate schoolhouse requirements for Electronic Classrooms (ECR) and multi-media; Submit ECR requirements requests into SERENA Solutions Business Manager; Coordinate and track delivery status of ECR components per Career Training Continuum (CTC) timelines; Maintain IS fielding project plan with milestones, status, and resource allocation; Verify successful implementation via operational checks
Technical Overview
Work with Electronic Classrooms (ECR) and Career Training Continuum (CTC) workflows, including NETC TRANET file share operations and NAVFAC drawing layouts. Provide operational checks after technology implementation and support database management system administration tasks such as monitoring, performance tuning, and backup and recovery.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience supporting training development and computer systems and applications, with strong skills in database design, installation, monitoring, and backup/recovery. They can manage and track IS fielding project plans, validate and coordinate Electronic Classrooms (ECR) requirements through Career Training Continuum (CTC) timelines, and provide clear SITREPs to stakeholders.
