About this role
This role supports the City’s IT infrastructure and provides technical assistance to employees for computer and technology needs. Work involves service desk support, troubleshooting network/system issues, and coordinating hardware/software maintenance with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hardware, software, network, and phone system service desk support
- Monitor operational performance and troubleshoot networking issues
- Isolate causes of system failures and resolve difficult inquiries
- Coordinate maintenance of City hardware and software with vendors
- Consult with law enforcement technical (as assigned)
Technical Overview
You will provide end-user and infrastructure-adjacent support across hardware, software, networks, and phone systems.
