About this role
The Infrastructure Delivery Manager leads inbound capacity delivery and equipment installation for AWS data centers, supervising data center technicians and projects to ensure on-time, quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation
- Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages
- Manage the installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment
- Guide, train and educate staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues
- Provide weekly report to the data center manager
Technical Overview
Scope includes data center operations, network cabling, TCP/IP networking, and low-voltage infrastructure, with emphasis on automation opportunities and SLA compliance within AWS environments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior data-center operations leader with 4+ years in data center technology and management, strong vendor management, and a track record of on-time, defect-free delivery in AWS-scale environments.
