Position Details
About this role
Manages delivery of inbound capacity and equipment for AWS data centers, leading data center technicians and coordinating cross-functional teams to install and deploy networking infrastructure. Responsible for on-time, defect-free service, SOPs, and automation improvements to reduce delivery cycle times while maintaining network availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize and assign tasks to data center technicians and operators, project management, coaching and creating documentation
- Manage inbound capacity from receiving through deployment stages
- Oversee installation network and cabling infrastructure in a data center environment
- Train staff and educate on best practices; recruit data technicians
- Provide weekly reports; ensure compliance with performance management requirements
Technical Overview
Focus on data center infrastructure, including network equipment installation, low-voltage cabling, and capacity inbound management. Involves working in data center environments with data center facilities, adherence to SLAs, and implementing automation opportunities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced Infrastructure Delivery Manager with 4+ years in data center tech and 4+ years in management, strong TCP/IP and cabling expertise, and the ability to drive automation and process improvements in data centers.
