About this role
The Inside Sales Specialist supports Richardson RFPD by coordinating day-to-day sales activities, accurately processing quotations and orders, and maintaining excellent customer service. The role also manages delivery schedules/back orders and handles after-sales requests like returns and warranty-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Support field sales engineers with phone/email customer communication throughout the sales process
- Process customer quotations and orders and monitor quote activity for timely follow-up
- Manage open orders and delivery schedules by reviewing back order reports and updating promised ship dates
- Support after-sales activities including returns authorisations, warranty-related matters, and customer issue resolution
- Maintain accurate customer and order information in internal systems and provide administrative support
Technical Overview
This role primarily uses internal sales systems, with preferred experience in CRM or ERP systems—specifically Oracle. The technical scope is administrative sales operations rather than software engineering.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has prior inside sales or customer service experience, with strong accuracy in managing quotations and orders. They are organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and have experience working with CRM or ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
