Morgan Stanley is hiring an Institutional Client Specialist (Associate/AVP) for its Institutional Infrastructure Solutions (IIS) business. The role is responsible for world-class client service, institutional client onboarding and maintenance, money movement support, and handling alternative investments documentation while coordinating with Fund Services, outside custodians, and clients.

  • maintain institutional client relationships and service requests (processing, escalation, inquiries)
  • build expertise in specific outside custodians for onboarding and queries
  • onboard new institutional clients including complex entity structures and contract signatures
  • support non-investment services including expense management and reporting and referrals
  • process documentation related to alternative investments (capital calls, sub docs) and liaise with fund managers and custodians

The role is client-operations focused within IIS, covering client onboarding, money movement, asset aggregation and accounting, billing, and client/IO reporting coordination. It also includes project managing with Fund Services partners and processing alternative investments documentation (capital calls and sub docs).

The ideal candidate is an Associate/AVP-level institutional client specialist who can deliver world-class customer service to institutional clients, including multi-family offices and related Graystone business services. They must hold active Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) licenses and be able to onboard clients with complex entity structures, manage outside custodians, and handle alternative investments documentation such as capital calls and sub-docs.
