About this role
The Instrument Operations Engineer will implement and maintain Abbott's quality system while engaging in design, fabrication, validation, and manufacture of instrument subassemblies and systems. The role requires collaboration across R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and quality teams to translate requirements into validated engineering plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with crossfunctional teams to support prototyping, testing, validation, and production; translate regulatory and business requirements into validation plans; analyze data and processes for cost/schedule impact; identify regulatory risks and mitigation strategies; coordinate resources (time, materials, budget, personnel)
