Insurance Senior Accountant responsible for GAAP and SAP accounting, NAIC filings, and financial analysis within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare general ledger entries
- Prepares NAIC filings
- Prepares reinsurance settlement statements
- Calculates and files quarterly Premium Tax
- Performs variance and ratio analysis
Technical Overview
Experience with GAAP/SAP, NAIC filings, NAIC requirements, reinsurance, Excel and data tools; familiarity with Clearwater Analytics and APL.

The ideal candidate is a senior insurance accountant with GAAP and SAP/STAT knowledge, NAIC filings experience, and ability to analyze reinsurance and prepare financial statements.
