About this role
This role combines cloud systems administration with integration engineering responsibilities, focusing on building secure cloud administrative environments and processes. You’ll implement cybersecurity controls across PaaS and IaaS, operate day-to-day support and troubleshooting, and manage Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp Terraform across AWS and Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and configure cloud system administration environments and tools
- Implement security controls for PaaS and IaaS and support cybersecurity challenges
- Define and implement cloud architecture and administration processes for VA platforms
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, troubleshooting, and change/problem management
- Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot Infrastructure as Code environments using HashiCorp Terraform
Technical Overview
You will define secure cloud architecture and administration processes for VA platforms, support change and problem management, and assist cybersecurity teams with security analysis and assessments. The technical core includes designing, deploying, and troubleshooting Infrastructure as Code environments with HashiCorp Terraform while operating in AWS GovCloud, AWS Commercial, and Azure, including Active Directory and related network resources.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has 5+ years configuring cloud administrative environments and tools, with strong experience defining secure cloud architecture across PaaS and IaaS. They are hands-on with Infrastructure as Code using HashiCorp Terraform and have worked across multiple cloud providers including AWS GovCloud, AWS Commercial, and Azure, with operational troubleshooting and security assessment capability.
