Intel is hiring an Intel Foundry Module Development Engineer to lead scientific research and experiment work that develops next-generation semiconductor processing technologies. The role includes integrating manufacturing steps for complex microprocessors and ramping technology to manufacturing volumes while transferring it via the Copy Exactly Methodology.

You will design, execute, and analyze experiments for semiconductor process development, enabling innovative device architecture manufacturing. You will also support technology ramp demonstrations and technology transfer for manufacturing readiness, with preferred experience in wet etch and chemical processing/chemical development.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Foundry Module Development Engineer with a Master’s (5+ years) or PhD (1+ years) in a relevant STEM field and a strong background designing, executing, and analyzing hands-on experiments for semiconductor process development. They have experience supporting technology ramp to manufacturing volumes and technology transfer using the Copy Exactly Methodology, with bonus strength in wet etch, chemical processing, and cross-functional project leadership.
