About this role
This is a summer 2026 internship for junior-year undergraduates focused on business development and account management. The intern supports client relationship building and learns supply chain best practices and logistics technology through hands-on work with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn internal business processes and supply chain best practices
- Build relationships internally and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers
- Use Navisphere(R) and other technology systems
- Learn sales and negotiation and apply in a sales team environment
- Develop strategic thinking, communication, customer relationship management, and project management skills
Technical Overview
The intern works with best-in-class technology systems, including the proprietary global supply chain platform Navisphere(R), and learns transportation and logistics transportation information systems concepts. They apply skills across sales/negotiation, operations management, and project management in support of client supply chain goals.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a junior-year undergraduate student with strong verbal and written communication skills and proven relationship-building ability. They are driven and detail-oriented, able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, and eager to learn business development, account management, and logistics technology such as Navisphere(R) to support client supply chain goals.
