About this role
This internship applies macroeconomics and forecasting to improve outcomes for new product launches within Amazon Private Brands. You will build datasets, perform applied econometric analysis, and collaborate with economists and product teams.

- Develop forecasting models for Private Brands, Build data sets for applied analysis
- Perform applied econometric analysis, Collaborate with economists, scientists, and product managers, Learn and apply econometric and economic theory methods
- Support dissertation-related applied writing
Technical Overview
The work focuses on forecasting and applied econometrics using R and/or Python, including methods such as program evaluation, time series, panel data, and high dimensional problems. You will contribute to model development and applied analysis that can support research writing.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a PhD student (at least third year) in Economics or a related quantitative field who is detail-oriented and eager to apply macroeconomics and forecasting to real business problems. They have experience with econometrics methods such as forecasting, time series, and panel data using R and/or Python, and can communicate effectively while collaborating with economists, scientists, and product managers.
