About this role
Support Boston Scientific’s finance team by assisting with budgeting, reporting, financial analysis, and administrative processes. The intern will help with month-end closing and reconciliations, review expense reports/invoices/purchase orders, and contribute to KPI monitoring and audit support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Support month-end closing activities and reconciliation processes
- Review expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders for accuracy and compliance
- Support financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Support audit processes by organizing documentation and reports
Technical Overview
This is a finance operations and reporting role focused on financial planning and analysis activities, including month-end closing, reconciliation, and analysis of trends/variances. The scope includes maintaining financial databases and supporting presentations and audit documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an actively enrolled Bachelor's student pursuing Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. They have strong analytical/numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and can support month-end closing, budgeting/reporting, and reconciliation tasks while contributing to KPI monitoring and audit support.
