MassMutual Strategic Distributors is seeking a Life Internal Wholesaler to join its Internal Sales Desk. The role provides pre-and-post-sale technical product support, responds to distribution partner inquiries, supports sales illustration and marketing materials, and helps drive sales toward goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre-and-post-sale technical product support
- Respond to inquiries from distribution partners on products and sales designs
- Provide sales and marketing materials and sales illustration support
- Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors to meet sales goals
- Respond to email inquiries and collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper processing
Technical Overview
This is an insurance sales enablement role centered on life insurance product knowledge and compliant support for distribution partners. It involves using Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and may use Salesforce, while coordinating internal processing and responding to inquiries.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a life insurance sales support professional with at least 1+ year of experience working with life insurance clients such as broker dealers, captive agents, and institutions. They already hold FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 (or can obtain them within 6 months) and have State Life & Health, with strong product knowledge across Whole Life, UL, VUL, and Term.
