About this role
International SCM Category Manager responsible for leading cross-functional procurement strategies, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations to maximize value for Southwest Airlines across international categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute sourcing strategies for internal customers
- Assess business needs; develop supplier negotiation strategies
- Partner with internal customers to develop category reviews
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Draft and manage contracts; ensure KPIs and rebates
Technical Overview
Expertise in strategic sourcing, spend analytics, TCO modeling, and contract governance; experience with electronic procurement platforms and global supplier management; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior category manager with 5+ years in international procurement, strong negotiation and cross-functional leadership skills, fluent in English and Spanish, based in Dallas.
