About this role

Manage investment accounting data analytics and reporting for MassMutual’s Controllers organization. Lead execution of internal and external reporting, regulatory and management reports, reconciliations, and quarterly Yellow & Blue Books reviews across investment product domains.

Key Responsibilities

Execute internal & external reporting and regulatory & management reports for investment products
Own reporting SPOC for the Controller organization and liaise with Financial Reporting and auditors
Oversee accounting and regulatory changes impacting investments and reporting
Lead quarterly Yellow & Blue Books reviews and investment performance presentations
Drive process improvement through benchmarking, peer analysis, and efficiency initiatives

Technical Overview

Focuses on accounting analytics and reporting operations rather than software engineering. Works across investment product accounting, reconciliation, and close cycle reporting, producing stakeholder-ready reporting artifacts including investment performance presentations and segment/profit center reporting.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level accounting and reporting professional with strong experience in investment controllership, internal & external reporting, and insurance accounting close cycles. They can lead reconciliation and problem-solving for segment and profit center reporting, including quarterly Yellow & Blue Books reviews and investment performance presentations.
