About this role

Leads design and execution of Investment IT support model for Mercer Investments, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient technology infrastructure for investment management applications, trading platforms, and data analytics tools. Oversees support tickets, change management, documentation, and stakeholder communication; budget planning and policy development for investment technology.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design and execution of our targeted Investment IT support model
Collaborate with investment teams and technology groups to understand needs and facilitate system upgrades and change management
Develop and maintain documentation, support policies, and procedures
Manage support tickets efficiently, prioritize critical issues, and guide the team on best practices
Provide regular updates to senior management on IT support performance and strategic recommendations

Technical Overview

Scope includes IT systems, networking, server management, cybersecurity in investment tech; experience with portfolio systems, trading platforms, data analytics tools; cloud platforms Databricks, Python, SQL (Presto, Hive, BigQuery); BI tools Power BI, Tableau, Looker.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced IT/Investment technology leader with a proven track record building and leading investment IT support teams, strong knowledge of investment management software, and hands-on experience with cloud-based data tools.
