Journeyman Information Security Analyst supporting IRS programs in a remote federal environment. Requires active Public Trust clearance and hands-on security operations experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system security analysis and risk assessments
- Manage vulnerability management and incident response activities
- Assist with RMF/ISCM planning and documentation
- Collaborate with IRS teams and external partners
- Maintain security controls and compliance artifacts
Technical Overview
Strong background in system security analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response; familiarity with RMF, NIST SPs, FISMA, and cloud security with FedRAMP.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-career information security analyst with active Public Trust clearance and 5-8 years of federal IT security experience. They should be proficient in RMF, FISMA, NIST SPs, and cloud/FedRAMP concepts, with strong incident response and vulnerability management skills.
