About this role
GovCIO is hiring a remote IT Consultant to support VA Office of Information and Technology program efforts. The role provides technical consultation on products, architecture, interfaces, and explores AI opportunities for telehealth and scheduling improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technology integration or process improvement guidance
- Understand system architecture and dependencies and communicate to stakeholders
- Obtain in-depth technical knowledge of Telehealth and Scheduling within VA
- Investigate and research AI to enhance Telehealth and Scheduling products
- Collaborate to establish technical vision and analyze usability and performance tradeoffs
Technical Overview
This position focuses on understanding system architecture and dependencies, advising on technical integration and process improvement, and researching how AI can enhance telehealth and scheduling products. The consultant collaborates with developers and subject matter experts to analyze usability versus performance tradeoffs and to support implementation priorities.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on IT consultant with 5+ years of experience advising on system architecture, interfaces, and integration work. They have strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder communication, and experience researching how Artificial Intelligence can enhance Telehealth and Scheduling experiences for end users.
