About this role

Application Developer I is an entry-level role to learn coding languages and support core host systems for the credit union. Under supervision, you will develop, test, and implement solutions across multi-tier architectures and API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

learn coding languages to support core systems
design, program and implement core system solutions
collaborate to understand platforms, APIs, and DB structures
perform OO and structured programming
assist and shadow senior developers to troubleshoot core system errors

Technical Overview

Focus on learning languages (C, TAL, Caché ObjectScript, TACL, Python, SQL), multi-tier architecture, APIs, and SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) in financial services systems.

Ideal Candidate

An entry-level Application Developer I with 2+ years in financial systems analysis, familiar with C, TAL, Caché ObjectScript, TACL, Python, and SQL. Comfortable in a multi-tier architecture, APIs, and Agile/Waterfall SDLC within a credit union environment.
