About this role
This role provides strategic operational coordination for the CIO, acting as a gatekeeper for executive logistics and a tracker for IT leadership work. You will manage the CIO’s calendar, liaise with external IT vendors, coordinate travel, and handle sensitive personal administrative scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and architect the CIO’s calendar (protect work time and move meetings)
- Serve as point of contact for external IT vendors (capture action items and ensure follow-ups)
- Track IT project milestones and report progress to the CIO
- Manage travel lifecycle (flights, hotels, ground transport)
- Handle sensitive personal administrative tasks (family appointments, school/daycare logistics)
Technical Overview
This is not a technical support position. The job requires light technical literacy and tool proficiency (draw IO, Jira, Zoho) plus advanced Microsoft 365 suite usage to track projects and manage vendor action items for the IT leadership team.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a highly organized executive support professional with 3-5 years coordinating executive operations and at least 2 years as a personal or executive assistant. They are tech-literate, able to track IT-related project milestones, liaise with external IT vendors, and manage complex executive travel logistics using tools like Jira, Zoho, draw IO, and Microsoft 365.
