IT Procurement Specialist

This role manages the full IT procurement process for technology assets and services, from vendor selection and proposal evaluation through contract negotiation and SLA management. It works closely with IT, Finance, and Legal to align procurement with technical roadmaps, budgets, and governance standards while driving cost savings and managing supplier risk.

• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT assets including hardware software cloud services and telecommunications
• Lead vendor selection and relationship management using proposals market research and due diligence
• Negotiate complex contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to secure competitive pricing favorable terms and legal compliance
• Collaborate with IT Finance and Legal to align procurement strategies with technical requirements budgetary constraints and governance standards
• Drive cost savings and cost avoidance while mitigating supplier risk

The technical procurement scope includes SaaS licensing, enterprise agreements, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity solutions, plus asset lifecycle management for hardware and software. The work requires negotiating SLAs and ensuring vendor performance through strong due diligence and risk management practices.

The ideal candidate is an IT procurement professional who can run the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for technology assets and services, including hardware, software, cloud platforms, and telecommunications. They bring strong contract negotiation experience (including service level agreements), deep expertise in SaaS licensing, enterprise agreements, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and asset lifecycle management, and they can partner effectively with IT, Finance, and Legal stakeholders to deliver measurable cost savings.
