Southern Specialties is looking for a hands-on IT Systems and ERP Specialist to be the primary Tier 1 help desk contact while supporting infrastructure and business applications. The role is central to an upcoming ERP migration to Prophet, including data migration, testing, user training, and go-live support.

  • Provide Tier 1 help desk support for end users
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ERP systems (MS Business Central / Prophet)
  • Administer network infrastructure (wired/wireless, switches, firewalls, servers)
  • Implement and maintain EDI document exchange with trade partners (AS2/Lanham/itrade)
  • Serve as System Champion for Prophet ERP implementation (data migration, testing, user training, go-live support)

You will administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, support ERP systems including Microsoft Business Central and Prophet, and manage core network infrastructure (wired/wireless, switches, firewalls, servers). You will also maintain EDI document exchange using AS2/Lanham/iTrade and manage IT documentation and asset inventory in SolarWinds helpdesk.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of hands-on IT support/operations experience, with strong end-user help desk skills and ownership of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. They have practical experience supporting ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central (or Prophet), and can participate in ERP data migration, testing, user training, and go-live support.
