About this role
IT Systems Engineer role supporting a pharmaceutical client, handling network and server installs, configurations, and troubleshooting. The engineer will also provide Tier 1 SAP ERP support and maintain compliance documentation for FDA and cGMP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs)
- Provide Tier 1-2 network and server support (including occasional after-hours support)
- Support Windows virtual server environments
- Provide Tier 1 SAP ERP support (monitoring, analysis, issue resolution)
- Maintain documentation and support backup/restore and infrastructure build-outs
Technical Overview
You will support IT network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs), deliver Tier 1-2 network and server support, and troubleshoot Windows virtual server environments. The role also includes Tier 1 SAP ERP monitoring, analysis, and issue resolution plus backup/restore support for manufacturing systems.

The ideal candidate is an IT systems engineer who can deliver Tier 1-2 network and server support while also providing SAP ERP Tier 1 assistance. They have hands-on experience troubleshooting network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, WAPs) and supporting Windows virtual server environments, with strong documentation and compliance discipline for FDA and cGMP environments.
