IT Technician provides proactive technical support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring secure, reliable operation of IT systems in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users
- Manage desktops, laptops, and peripherals across Windows, macOS, Linux
- Troubleshoot software issues (Office, enterprise tools)
- Maintain hardware and perform upgrades
- Support networking tasks (LAN, VPN, firewall) and document incidents
Technical Overview
The role covers end-user support, incident response, and basic network troubleshooting. Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy for ticketing and incident tracking is important, along with cross-platform OS experience.
