About this role

API Developer for AFJIS mission-critical integration program. Designs and implements RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems in a SAFe/Agile delivery environment, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and modern API tooling to enable secure, scalable data exchange.

Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration components
Build integrations with external systems

Technical Overview

Stack includes Java, Spring Boot/MVC, Maven/Gradle, JPA/Hibernate; REST/HTTP(S); JSON/XML; OpenAPI/Swagger; CI/CD with Git/Jenkins; AWS cloud; Docker/Kubernetes; relational DBs Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server; testing with JUnit/Mockito; API design and secure coding practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a mid-level Java API developer with 6+ years of software development experience, strong API integration experience with external systems, and hands-on Java using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs; must be able to work in SAFe/ Agile environment and hold US citizenship.
