About this role
Connection is hiring a Jira Administrator to optimize Jira Cloud environments in a remote contract role. The work includes building scalable workflows and automations, configuring Jira projects, troubleshooting issues, and training internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize Jira Cloud environments, including configurations and ongoing system enhancements
- Design and implement Jira automations to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency
- Create and customize Jira projects, including issue types, workflows, permission schemes, and screen configurations
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support to Jira users
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices and cross-train internal team members
Technical Overview
Administer Jira Cloud with a focus on automations and advanced customizations, including workflows, permission schemes, issue types, and screen configurations. Collaborate with project management teams to translate requirements into Jira configurations, troubleshoot problems, and document best practices for internal adoption.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Jira Administrator with 5+ years of experience specifically administering and optimizing Jira Cloud environments. They are hands-on with Jira automations, project setup/configuration (workflows, permission schemes, issue types, and screens), and they can partner with project management teams, troubleshoot issues, and train internal users effectively.
