About this role
Temporary ER RN (PRN) at SummitRidge Hospital in Lawrenceville, GA, for a 13-week contract. Provides professional nursing care in the emergency department, possibly floating to units as needed, with a focus on acute care and behavioral health considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage patients admitted or seen in the emergency department
- Assess, plan, guide and evaluate nursing care
- Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team
- Maintain BLS and relevant certifications
- May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and be on-call
Technical Overview
Nursing scope includes assessment, planning, and execution of ER care with leadership and supervision responsibilities. Requires Texas RN license or compact-state equivalent, BLS, and willingness to float as needed.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Texas-licensed RN with ER experience, preferably BSN, and current BLS/ARC/AHA certifications, able to manage high-acuity patients in the emergency department.
