Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and governing enterprise ontologies and optimized data models in support of Capital One's data strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and govern ontologies and data models
- Govern data integration and mapping
- Lead semantic program
- Communicate value of semantics
- Mentor ontology staff
Technical Overview
Focus on W3C standards (RDF, RDFS, OWL, SKOS, SHACL) and ontology tools (Protege, PoolParty, TopQuadrant, etc.), with experience in SQL/ SPARQL and graph databases.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior ontology/data modeling professional with 4+ years in metadata, ontology standards, and semantic technologies, capable of leading enterprise ontology initiatives across multiple business units.
Must-Have Skills
