Data Center Operations Analyst manages day-to-day data center operations, ensuring reliability and compliance across infrastructure. Tasks include capacity planning, vendor coordination, and implementing policies to protect data center resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day data center operations and incident response
- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures
- Monitor capacity planning and vendor coordination
- Install and configure servers, network equipment, and hardware components
- Enforce security and regulatory compliance (ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
Technical Overview
Focus on physical infrastructure: servers, networking, cooling, power, PDU/UPS; ensure regulatory compliance (ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR); apply ITSM processes and Agile practices; manage vendor relationships and security requirements.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced data center operations professional with 4-6 years of hands-on infrastructure experience, solid ITSM (ServiceNow) know-how, vendor management, and strong knowledge of HVAC, PDU/UPS, and data center security/compliance.
