Project Manager (Healthcare Information Systems) responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex healthcare IT projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of healthcare information system projects
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT professionals, executives, and vendors
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data security standards
- Monitor performance, manage risks, and mentor junior PMs
Technical Overview
End-to-end project lifecycle management for healthcare IT projects, with familiarity in HL7, FHIR, SNOMED CT, HIPAA/HITECH/GDPR, vendor management, and risk mitigation within healthcare environments.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior IT project manager with 8+ years of experience in software and/or product development, including 2+ years in IT project management within healthcare IT, capable of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex healthcare information system projects.
